about us

Head Over Heels was established by British Gymnastics’ trained coaches, Kate Humphries and Bev Proctor in February 2007. The club currently has over 1000 members across the age groups and is the largest pre-school gymnastics club in Wales, with nearly 20 years experience coaching little ones. Some of our first preschool gymnasts are now coaching with us!

This legacy continues into our next chapter; from September 2026, Sam Proctor, who has successfully led our school-age programme as Head Coach, will be taking over the management of Head over Heels.

I would highly recommend Head Over Heels. Our daughter has been going for around a year now and thoroughly enjoys herself. The team are very good with the children and very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Super friendly and helpful Great with the kids

My son absolutely loves these classes and the format has immensely helped him grow socially (was a pandemic baby with so much stranger danger). He is now more confident in the rest of his little three year old life.

Alison Morgan

Really good place for young children to learn basic skills in a controlled environment
